Ok so it's not stopped raining ALL FUCKING DAY and I finally finish my shift and head on my merry (snort)way home to find there's been flooding on the track so I have to get a bus from one of the stops so I can get dropped off at the main train station at the other end, by-passing the flooding. My 45 min journey turned in to AN HOUR AND A HALF. Mainly because this douche bag gave atrocious directions to the bus driver and at one point I thought we where going to end up at Brigadoon. No joke. So I have finally got back in now only I have the early shift tomorrow. It will NOT be fun. Plus, dear kids who batter the shit out of the demo drum pads and guitar, STOP. You would not be doing that if you spent £170 on Rockband so stop doing it on ours.

I really am rubbish at these things, what with sporadically updating this thing.

I got a job, nothing to do with what I spent four to five years of higher education for, but it's full time. It's in a certain large music store and I get to work in the games department. We set up Rockband, the whole shebang, drums, guitar and mic for it's release on the ps3. So I got to have a sneaky go, have to say it's waaaay too much fun on the drum machine. Makes me want to take it up again.

So with this full time job I really don't think I'll be able to come on as regular and actually post (there's a change ha ha ha). But I shall be lurking about. To those who I haven't been able to talk to in a long time (I'm sure you know who you are) I hope to be able to catch up with you on AIM.

Hello there, it's been a while. Hope you still remember me, ha ha ha.

I do have some stuff that I could update but it's a fair bit, I think. *scratches head* It's been a while since I posted anything apart from 'Happy Birthdays' and a few things have happened. But I'm such a lazy arse at the moment. I'm knackered, mostly because I've completely buggered up my sleep cycle and turned nocturnal but now I have to go back 'normal life' I have to go back to having a sleep pattern that lets me commune with the rest of society.

It sucks ass.

I will do a proper update. Probably.

Though it'll be after I crash out while watching Pride and Prejudice and Transformers with a glazed expression.

I'm back. (For now)

Hope everyone's doing well. I have been a busy doing a little of this and a little of that. But at the moment I'm doing some work experience, unpaid, but FUCK it's something RELEVANT TO MY DEGREE. Happy days!

Apart from that I'm working on some other projects including a graphic novel I'm doing it with a couple of friends from Uni. He's working through the final pages and it's looking SHWEET AS. Can't wait to see more pages done. There's some other stuff I'm working on too, one may might work out as a script and the other is turning out to be a MONSTER. At this point it's going to turn out War and Peace in size. ¬_¬ HOWEVER I don't CARE since I'm actually doing something creative again. Ye ha.

P.S. Anyone know where I can find the second volume of Peter Panda translated? I swear I'll smex you up. Can you tell I'm feeling a little hyper. I've had so much caffeine it's no joke yo. *bounces in chair*

It's been a wile since I posted some writing and that would mainly because everything I've written for a while I've hated.

On another note I have something to say and it's not easy. *deep breath*

I've been sucked into the HP fandom. *hangs head* I know, I know whatever love, respect and adoration you had for me is now gone but it's true. I like the books, films but just never got into the fandom, until a couple of days ago. It's only just the Sirius/Remus pairing though. Now to be fair I loved Remus in the books and he's always been my favorite character. Probably something to do with the werewolf thing. Probably. Or it could be because I always pictured him as James Spader when I read the books. Plus when I say I'm into the fandom it's mostly skirting around the outside looking for the smut. Apart from this couple I'm not really all that bothered. It's just this pairing it's addictive and WHY WON'T THE WONDERFUL SWEET, SWEET ANGST AND HOTNESS OF IT LEAVE ME BE. Luckily there are some fab writers who write them. *starts to purr* I really do love this pairing. If anyone has hot S/R smut them for the love off all that's good send me a link. Maybe I can calm the raging beast within me.

Damn do you know how hard it was coming up with a two never mind 10 things that start with 'E'. All I could think was eggs and elephants. Both I'm just 'meh' about.

After my last long rambling post I would keep this short and to the point. Whether I manage that is another thing.

I've not been online for a while so first off sorry for disappearing into oblivion. Especially to you lightrobber.

I've been pretty busy running around the place. The job centre has been sorted out and I've had two interviews. One with a gaming company and one with a restaurant. I haven't heard anything from the former but I have a 'trial run' tonight at the restaurant. Sure it has nothing to do with five years of my life of further education and I swore off waitressing ever again but the place is cool and it'll give me time to try and figure out what I want to do next.

At this point that's all I seem to be thinking about. What the hell am I supposed to do now. I was at a animation festival last week and weekend, and while it was brilliant seeing mate from uni again, most now have jobs in our field. I'm not jealous or upset about it because they worked damn hard to get them and I couldn't be prouder of them. I just don't know if I can make it. It's a difficult thing to get into and they're are so many people out there who are much more talented than I am. And no I'm not being emo I'm stating a fact.

I wish life came with a guide. It would be just peachy about now. *headdesk*

Anyway I have to go. Hope everyone is well and to anyone who celebrates Chinese New Year have a good one. It's supposed to be a good year for me nice I'm a Rat lol, well I'll know if that's true by next year.

I have not been up to much, nothing much at ALL. And I'm just about ready to hibernate for an aeon, though I doubt on awaking things would be much better.

The Benefits people are still continuing to fuck me in an uncomfortable place (prize to anyone who gets that quote) and I'm just about to tell them to shove it up their arse. Because I was doing unpaid work experience before Christmas they stopped my benefit because they class that as part time work because of the hours and they see that as me 'not actively looking for work'. They however don't seem to realise that in the media/design/animation industry that IS ME ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR WORK.

The reason for this little outburst is because after a loooong day of trudging around Glas Vegas in the POURING fucking rain whoring myself out with CVs to every shop I could think of I come home and find another BULLSHIT letter from the benefits people. So I give up on them. They are meant to be there to help people get jobs but they're just too much bloody hassle. It's stressful enough trying to find a job and feeling like completely useless fuck without them fucking me about.

So to try and calm the psychotic RAGE I'm feeling at the moment I'm listening to Bjork and trying not to scream and shout obscenities.

On to other news. Gaming reviews and news.

When not ripping my hair out trying to get a job I've been gaming it up.

I've been playing Mass Effect for the Xbox (or (SE)Xbox as the news have coined it) and honest to God it's a mighty awesome game. Though unfortunately it's come under some scrutiny by people who haven't played the game and are making shit up about it to make news. It's an interactive Sci Fi that give you, the player, a chance to choose how much you want to interact and develop relationships with other characters in the game (including if you want to be male or female). This includes a romantic arc in the storyline if you choose to pursue it. Now because of this romance you get (if you work through the character plot) to do the 'nasty' with another character. This has suddenly become a 'news' worth item with such proclamations to the game being 'pornography' now I have played the game and it's complete and utter bollocks. The sex scene is could be rated as pg 13 if that. But there you go. The other uproar is that if female you can choose to get it on with a female alien (well the whole species is 'female' as they procreate mentally or something I didn't read the details on their biology). So again it there were people crying out about it. However whoever these people are who are wailing and gnashing their teeth about the whole thing I don't think realise that the gaming industry are the most ruthless when it comes to rating games. After such horrors of young people being influenced by games they have had to be. They are more stricter than films. And for the LOVE OF ALL THAT'S GOOD play the game before you go on the news and berate it as the downfall of civilisation.

So to get away from the politics that seem to have plagued this game. If you are a gamer and like sci fis with great storylines, plenty of side missions, and want to save the galaxies from total extinction then I highly recommend this.
The graphics are brilliant and voice acting is amasing. You will get sucked into this though, which says a lot especially from me since I have no attention span. Garrus voice is strangely hot which is slightly concerning. But then again I have a 'thing' about voices (eg V's voice in V for Vendetta).

So what's the lesson from all this? If you want to get the real story about a game instead of the hype, ask a gamer. There's a arse load of sites on the net with people on them that actually know what they are talking about.

I realise that I probably sound like a hundred thousand other 'gamers' out there and I in no way consider myself an expert on the subject since I'm relevantly new to gaming. But I mean JESUS the utter balls they were talking about on Mass Effect really opened my eye to how much the media talk complete bollocks about games.

Here endeth the lesson.

Back to beating my head against a wall trying to find employment.
